Sunday, April 18, 2004 Wow,For the first time as a VSL,My senior ventures volunteer to wash my van for me......So shock....but it din come for free, the ask me whether i will sign their test card;"Self Reliance Component" if the wash and wax my van.Well i said ok and the did quite a good job.I am very IMPRESSED. maohaid whined at Sunday, April 18, 2004 | Comments? Tuesday, April 13, 2004 More Issue regarding $$$ Money Money Money!! Does it really matters if we dun have enough money.Definately with the lack of money, our lifes could be less comfortable.So we werk and werk to earn more money so that we can live comfortablely.We work monday to sunday. From dusk to dawn..Eventually when we work monday to sunday,dusk to dawn,we will definately have extra $$$ to spent.But when can we spent our money if we work all week?Not only that, we lose the time we spent on our family, friends, love ones etc. So is it advisable to do so? Well we dun really know, that could be the reason why we are still doing so.Are we able to part with our time,family, friends and love ones over money? Money Money Money!! What happens when we eventually earn enough or in other words we became rich?Many friends, distant relatives, enemy whom we seldom see came visiting us. i once came upon this proverb, "Money dun bring u good friends;but it certainly invite you better enemy". So why do these people come to you? Well it is becos you have the money. and people love money... when you refuse to borrow them or have difficulties borrow money to them, they simply say that we have forgotten our friends when we became rich. We, all of us know that it is not true... where are these people when we are in need? Money Money Money!! Best of all, when siblings and families join forces to open up business, each and everyone of us became greedy. We always want more.At the end of the day, families and siblings goes into war just becos of money. They say, "Blood is thicker than water." but in many cases, money is the root of all evil.siblings and families goes to court to sue each other... Human are greedy. No amount of money is enough for them... Money Money Money!! Last of all, those who lose money...some are heavy gamblers, stock players etc. some lose money and become poor,some lose money and bankrupt, some own loanshark and trouble their families, some resort to stealing and robbery and end up in prison.... If that is not bad enough, try visiting the Institue of Mental Health, Some of the start talking about shares, some start counting stacks of newspaper "money" some go ard saying that people steal their money.Well this people paid the most expensive price becos of money...They have gone crazy over money...So you think that money is the root of all evil. Have you ever asked what is the root of all money?Be contented of what you have. No money = Problem To much Money = Many Problems Just enough = Not Enough. Sinmple!Its becos we spent more then what we earn.A friend of mine once said, we must divide our money into 3 parts.Why three parts and what are the three part.The 3 parts we should split our money is very simple.Part 1 - Our Need, Part 2 - Our Want and Part 3 - Our Security Saving. Part 1 - Our Need What are our needs? Simple, our need are our daily expenditure like telephone bills,food, logistics, basic transportation,etc.We shall by all means try to keep to our allocated budget. We should try to live according to our budget.Overspending in this section could bring troubles..... Part 2 - Our Wants Now that you have already know what are you needs, we shall looking into what are our wants. Our wants are the things that we dun realli need it,but it will certainly be useful when we have it.For example,a BMW car, a brand new high tech handphone,home theather system with full surround system.etc. So what shall we buy with this "our want" $$$$? The answer is very clear. Firstly dump all the money into one thing.....That is the piggy bank. In other words we are suppose to save up all this money into our bank account. Ask yourself this question? Do i really need these stuff? If yes, buy it when you have saved enough. If not save up till u have more money to buy your other more expensive "Want List". Part 3 - Our Security Saving Third is our Security Saving.In this Security Saving,further divide you money into 3 parts.Low Risk Investment, Medium Risk Investment and lastly High Risk Investment.Low Risk Investment are things like SAYE,Save As You Earn Account,Fixed Deposit Accounts etc.These are the investment that you confirm make minimal profits without any risk. Medium Risk Investment are investment with a certain degree of risk plus marginal profits eg. Unit Trust and such.The High Risk Investment promises High profits but it also have high risk.eg Stock and Share. By following these methods,we are sure to be wealth one day......But unfortunately, most of us do not earn enough to have this kind of plan.Imagine you earn S$1200 a month."Our need" accounts will only have S$400.So are you really sure that you can survive in singapore for S$400 a month?If you just spent $5 a day on your 3 meals for 30 days, it would already add up to $150.With telephone bills, daily transportation to and fro work?Do yoou think it is enough? "Our Want" would be $400 a month too..chances are, half of these money will be automatically be transfered to the needs account with left us with $200 a month.Simple to say, to buy an XDA2 phone, we need to save up to 8 months....So how long will we take to save up just to put a deposit on our BMW 320?Lastyly Our Security Savings,which is further divide into 3 parts which would be only $133.33, Imagine buying shares with $133.33, what can u buy?Put $133.33 into saving account with give you less then $0.20 interest a year.Maybe they should change Low Risk Investment into Buying 4D, ToTo, Big Sweep and Soccer Bets. Sunday, April 04, 2004 Wah been so long ago since i last write my blog.Maybe now 23 liao, no time for this kiddy stuff.hehehe many gd stuff happen during these week.Last week on my wa to Scout HQ,came across my poly mates, brenda and eric, wah siao bo, 3 yrs never meet....now one is BSc Holder, the other Senior Tech... Earning big money, where am i sia.How they do it man..... their results all same as mine half past 6.Then when go to HQ during meeting,my boss, Muhd got Promoted to ADC, Assistant District Commissioner. WOW, good for him BUT, i think i am going to suffer,he willl now be more buzy with district event that he would not have much time for unit.... jialat 1 one person handle 80 boys? Suiside Sia... Haiz lets follow the wind lar...
